The 2011 AKF National Karate Championships were held in Caloundra, Queensland during the period 5-7 August. 19 Kimekai athletes attended the tournament and achieved very good results winning 14 medals; 3 Gold, 3 Silver and 4 Bronze in individual events and 3 Gold and 1 Silver in the Teams events.
